We can provide consumption data from the data held on our billing system for up to the previous 24 months. This will vary depending on kind of meter you have and the data that we hold on file.
Toast Electric is New Zealand’s only not-for-profit electricity retailer. We service all households in the Wellington Electricity and Electra Networks (Wellington, Porirua, Hutt Valley, Porirua, Kapiti, Horowhenua).
We offer all our new customers a free in-house home energy check from one of our expert assessors to keep power costs down and create healthy home.
For every three “regular” customers on board, we can support one household on lower incomes. Customers on low incomes can be referred by partner agencies to our Energy Wellbeing programme.
The Energy Wellbeing programme provides lower electricity rates, bill caps and free electricity in winter, and advice/support/free stuff from our assessors and partners. As not-for-profit we have a laser focus on community benefit, social equity and ensuring our lower-income households are not left behind in the carbon and energy transition.
Home Energy Checks: Toast offers all new customers who have been with us for 3 months a free Home Energy Check from one of our expert advisors. This in-home 1-hour assessment provides advice, referrals and information on how to lower your power, bill, reduce carbon emissions, and create a warm, dry, healthy home.
Energy Wellbeing Programme: Lower-income households can be referred into the programme by a participating referral agency such as budget advice services. The programme provides cheaper power, an energy bill cap in winter, up to $500 of free power above the cap, and a detailed home assessment with free and subsidised interventions.
